Can beginners join the 200-hour TTC?

What does the seat deposit cover?

The deposit reserves your place in the selected batch. The final residential fee — covering tuition, accommodation coordination and sattvic meals — is confirmed by admissions after booking. Room preference and arrival logistics are arranged before payment completion.

Are the certificates internationally recognised?

Om Yoga International is a Yoga Alliance USA registered school. Graduates can register as RYT 200, RYT 300 or RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance — the most internationally recognised credential for yoga teachers worldwide.

How do I travel to Rishikesh from abroad?

The nearest international airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi (IGI). From Delhi, take a bus or taxi to Rishikesh (5–6 hours). Alternatively, fly to Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (DED) — 35 km from campus — and take a taxi (45 minutes). The admissions team sends a detailed arrival guide after booking.

Can I do the 200-hour and 300-hour training together?

What yoga styles are taught?

Core styles include Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa at the foundation level. Advanced courses introduce Yin, Restorative, Iyengar principles, Kundalini, pranayama and therapeutic applications. Specific styles depend on the course.

Is there a visa requirement for India?

Most international students require a tourist visa or e-Visa for India. Students should check requirements for their nationality on the Indian government's official visa portal. The admissions team can provide a course confirmation letter for visa applications.

Do you offer a shorter training for beginners who can't commit to 24 days?

Yes. The 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is a 12-day residential foundation program designed for complete beginners. It covers Hatha yoga, pranayama, meditation, philosophy and basic teaching methodology. Hours are recognised as credit toward the full RYT 200 pathway.

What is the Kundalini Yoga TTC and who is it for?

The 200-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training is a 24-day residential immersion covering the complete Kundalini kriya system, pranayama, mantra, mudra, chakra science and teaching methodology. It begins with a pre-dawn sadhana practice at 4 am daily. Some prior yoga experience is recommended.

Is the Yin Yoga TTC suitable for teachers who already have a 200-hour certificate?

Yes. The Yin Yoga Teacher Training (50 hours, 9 days) is designed for certified yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of the Yin Yoga system, TCM meridian theory and therapeutic sequencing. Hours are eligible as YACEP continuing education credits with Yoga Alliance.

Do I need aerial yoga experience to join the Aerial Yoga TTC?

No prior aerial experience is required. The Aerial Yoga Teacher Training (40 hours, 7 days) is open to all practitioners with basic fitness. The course begins with foundational hammock work and progresses through postures, safety protocols and sequencing for all levels.

How do I get to the campus from Delhi?
