Cancellation & Refund Policy – Om Yoga International

At Om Yoga International, Rishikesh, India, we aim to maintain transparency in our booking, cancellation, and refund policies for yoga teacher training programmes, specialized courses, and retreats. By booking a course, students agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Registration & Booking Deposit

A registration deposit of $100 USD or ₹10,000 INR is required to confirm your seat. The remaining course fee must be paid upon arrival unless otherwise agreed.

The registration deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations initiated by the student.

2. Cancellation Before the Course Starts

If you are unable to attend your scheduled course, your booking deposit will not be refunded.

However, you may request to reschedule your course by informing us in writing at least 30 days before the scheduled start date. Rescheduling is subject to availability and confirmation by Om Yoga International.

3. Course Rescheduling Policy

Students may transfer their booking deposit to a new course date if the request is submitted at least 30 days before the original course start date.

• One date change is permitted free of charge.

• Any additional date change may incur an administration fee of $100 USD.

• All date changes are subject to availability and written confirmation.

• Requests made less than 30 days before the course start date will be treated as cancellations.

4. Cancellation After the Course Begins

Once training has commenced, no refunds or credits will be provided for withdrawal, early departure, or partial attendance, regardless of the reason.

Students who leave a programme before completion may not be eligible for course completion certification.

5. Courses Paid in Full in Advance

The booking deposit remains non-refundable. Requests to change the course date must be submitted at least 30 days before the scheduled start date and are subject to availability.

Any approved transfer of the remaining course fee will be confirmed by Om Yoga International in writing.

6. Visa, Travel & Personal Emergencies

Om Yoga International is not responsible for visa refusals, flight cancellations, travel delays, personal emergencies, or other circumstances that prevent a student from attending.

Such circumstances do not automatically entitle students to a refund. Students are strongly advised to obtain suitable travel insurance.

7. Cancellation by Om Yoga International

In the unlikely event that Om Yoga International cancels a programme, students may choose either:

• A full refund of all course fees paid, including the registration deposit; or

• A transfer to an alternative available batch at no additional charge.

Refunds do not include external expenses such as flights, visas, or other travel arrangements.

8. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved under this policy, it will generally be processed within 7–14 business days. Applicable payment gateway or bank transfer charges may be deducted where permitted.

9. How to Request a Cancellation or Course Transfer

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing through the following official contact details:

The date on which the written request is received will determine whether the request meets the applicable notice period. Verbal requests will not be accepted.

10. Acceptance of Policy

By submitting a booking deposit or enrolling in a programme, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted the Cancellation & Refund Policy of Om Yoga International.
